Das war für uns das Aus is a biographical graphic novel about the lives of Otto Rosenberg and Emílie Danielová, chronicling the persecution of Sinti and Roma during the Nazi era.
Originally realized within the project Digital Lines of Life and Death for European Academy Berlin et al. (2022), following a script by Johanna Sokoließ.
The graphic novel was published as a book by Gedenkstätte Zwangslager Berlin-Marzahn in 2024. It can be ordered free of charge (shipping costs excepted). More information is available here.

Digital Lines of Life and Death is a project by European Academy Berlin, realised in cooperation with the Landesverband Deutscher Sinti und Roma Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. (Berlin-Brandenburg Regional Association of German Sinti an Roma), the Memorial Zwangslager Berlin-Marzahn as well as the Museum of Romani Culture in Brno and with the kind support of the Federal Foreign Office and the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility, Future within the framework of the programme „Young People Remember“.
