„Journey to the End of Surface“ („Reise ans Ende der Oberfläche“) is the examination of a piece of ginger. Indentations, cracks, and joints were explored through observation, while the hand transmitted relationships of tension. Along the open route, emerging insights from the journey were recorded in a logbook and, by means of a legend, assigned to the corresponding parts of the drawings. The collected records — comprising etchings, pencil drawings, silkscreens, and the logbook — are brought together in a case.
