Le Trésor mathématique de Polybius is a combinatory comic conceived as a book-object: An accordion-fold consisting of four sections, each containing ten images; for a total of 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 10.000 sequences.
Also developed as a mechanical installation producing ever-changing narratives.

The book maintains a single, fixed perspective throughout. It is set in a sparsely furnished interior with numerous pictures on the walls, where the plot unfolds entirely through subtle, and at times less subtle, changes within this single room.
All elements were hand-drawn using various pencil grades. The single images were then digitally assembled.
