I was glad to contribute a short visual narrative and the cover illustration to Parerga, a Festschrift in honour of Victor I. Stoichita.

From the publisher’s description:

„Quatorze collègues de Victor I. Stoichita, de l’Université de Fribourg et d’autres universités à travers le monde, lui offrent ici des études sur des sujets allant de la plus haute Antiquité à l’époque contemporaine. Essentiellement dans le domaine des arts visuels, mais aussi de la littérature et de la musique, une grande variété d’œuvres y sont explorées sous le thème des parerga au sens large, dans leurs formes et manifestations les plus diverses : nœud, pli, marge, espace de perception, accessoire, regard dans et devant les œuvres, cadre intérieur et extérieur, paratexte, ombre, vision, frontière esthétique, intertextualité, glose, transgression, animation, etc. Les œuvres de six artistes viennent agrémenter ce livre, lui donnant autant de parerga que de respirations artistiques en résonance avec les hommages textuels, ainsi qu’avec les publications de Victor I.
